Mobile home destroyed in Duplin County morning fire

FAISON, N.C. (WITN) – A mobile home was destroyed early this morning in one Eastern Carolina county.

Multiple fire departments in Duplin County were called to the home in Faison just before 6:00 a.m.

When the fire unit arrived, firefighters saw heavy fire coming from two sides of the trailer.

No one was injured in the blaze. The Duplin County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating how the fire began.

Firefighters from Faison, Calypso, Warsw, Piney Grove, and Smith Chapel battled the fire.

The American Red Cross is helping the family who lost their home in the fire.
