GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – In honor of kids going back to school, here are some healthy, delicious meal-prepping ideas to save you time and energy.

Honey Siracha Meatball ingrediants

  • Ground turkey 
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Eggs 
  • Green onions 
  • Seasonings

For the Sauce:

  • Sriracha 
  • Soy sauce 
  • Rice Vinegar
  • Sesame oil
  • Honey
  • Garlic
  • Ginger

How to Make Honey Sriracha Meatballs

  • In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, green onions, garlic powder, salt and black pepper until well combined.  Shape mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls and place them spaced apart on a baking sheet coated in nonstick cooking spray.  You should get about 40 meatballs.
  • Bake the meatballs in the oven at 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  • While the meatballs are baking, combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a small pot over medium heat and bring to a boil, whisking continuously.  Once the sauce is boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes to let the sauce thicken.
