CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A Craven County man is being held on a million dollar bond after his arrest on multiple drug charges.
Craven County deputies and New Bern police have charged Maurice Tucker with two counts of trafficking heroin/fentanyl, five counts of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver cocaine, felony possession of ecstasy, four counts of felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, possession with the intent to sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The arrest came after a raid on the man’s home on Highway 118, just inside Craven County on Wednesday.
Investigators say they found fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, oxycodone, ecstasy, marijuana, two guns, and $884 in cash.
The 43-year-old Tucker has a first court appearance today.
