Mid-Atlantic Hunting & Fishing Expo in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – An outdoor enthusiast’s dream is coming to a convention center in the east at the end of March.

The Mid-Atlantic Hunting and Fishing Expo will be at the Greenville Convention Center on March 23rd and 24th.

Organizers Joe Albea and Perry Bagley shared with WITN News at Sunrise that attendees can expect family-friendly activities.

The men say this expo differs from previous outdoor expos because of the time of year it’s hosted, the specific booths for fishing and hunting, and special guests Roger Raglin and Mark Nichols.

From the Mountain Trout Pond, Jake’s Take Aim free gun safety course, Mallard Mania free laser shot event, and free fishing simulator, the organizers say this is a great opportunity to satisfy any interest in the outdoors of North Carolina.

Bagley and Albea hope to see lots of duck hunters along with the men and women who enjoy fishing.

Those interested in going can do so Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Children 15 years old and younger can enter for free, however, it will cost adults $10 daily and families $25.

Tickets bought on Saturday can be used again on Sunday.

More information can be found on the expo’s website.
