RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – Lottery players in the East have the chance tonight to win nearly $400 million with Mega Millions.

The North Carolina Education Lottery announced tonight’s Mega Millions drawing will have a jackpot up for grabs that values $393 million. One lucky winner can choose either that value as an annuity or $181.5 million in cash.

“Big jackpots bring big excitement for players dreaming of winning a life-changing prize,” said Mark Michalko, executive director of the N.C. Education Lottery. “We would love to see that happen in North Carolina tonight.”

The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
