Martin County Sheriff’s Office looking for missing woman

MARTIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Authorities are looking for a woman reported missing on Saturday in Hamilton, North Carolina.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Mary Goetz was last seen between the night of Sunday March 3rd and the morning of Monday March 4th at 106 East Liberty Street.

Deputies say the 60-year-old has been known to leave the residence for extended periods of time in the past.

Goetz is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 240 pounds with blonde hair and wears glasses.

She was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt and dark in color pants and may be operating a blue or grey 2008 Nissan Altima with the NC license plate VAX-4952.

Goetz may also be using the name of Mary Brown.

Goetz has family in the Roanoke Rapids area of North Carolina and the Chesapeake area of Virginia.
