Man charged with October Goldsboro murder

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – An arrest was made Friday in one Eastern Carolina city for a murder that happened last year.

Goldsboro police charged Trevis Kinsey with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, and discharging weapon into occupied property.

The October 21st shooting killed Ahmad Hooker, of Goldsboro, in the 900 block of South Best Street.

The 34-year-old Kinsey was arrested this morning by U.S. Marshals on Franklin Street.

Kinsey is being held without bond.
