MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WITN) – An arrest has been made in an assault that happened earlier this week in Morehead City.

Kobe Lisk is charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury.

Morehead City police say around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday they got a call from Carteret Health Care that an assault victim was at the hospital. Police learned the woman was assaulted on South 19th Street.

The 20-year-old Lisk was arrested after police say their investigation led them to him.

The man was jailed on a $20,000 bond.
