GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – A man is now in jail on charges that he killed a teenager more than three months ago in one Eastern Carolina city.

Goldsboro police say Kenyatta Sutton was arrested on Wednesday for first degree murder.

Marshall Wiseman, 17, was gunned down back on January 13th in the 900 block of North Madison Avenue.

Police say during the investigation they were able to develop the 21-year-old Goldsboro man as a suspect in the murder. He was taken into custody around 6:15 p.m. on North Berkeley Boulevard.

Sutton was jailed without bond and police say future arrests in the murder case are possible.

Wiseman’s family still has a GoFundMe page to raise money for funeral expenses.
