ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WITN) – A man is facing multiple charges after being arrested for a shooting last week in downtown Rocky Mount.

Bobby Lawson was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by felon, discharging a firearm in city limits, and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police say two people were shot at on Thursday on Albemarle Avenue in a parking lot between the Rocky Mount Event Center and the Douglas Block.
