Man arrested on drug charges after cocaine investigation in Lenoir County

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A man is behind bars following a two-month investigation into the distribution of cocaine throughout Lenoir County.

According to Public Information Officer Bryan Hanks, 38-year-old Marcus Robinson of Coleman Lane in La Grange, was arrested on Friday.

A search warrant was executed on Robinson, who was currently on parole for previous firearm charges.

Robinson was charged with two charges of possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, two charges of possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robinson was placed into the Lenoir County Jail with a secured bond.
