PLYMOUTH, N.C. (WITN) – A log truck on fire this morning was quickly put out.

Plymouth firefighters say it happened around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 64 and Anne Street.

When firefighters first arrived, flames were coming from the rear of the cab. The logs were also on fire.

The fire department quickly knocked down the fire and foam was then used to prevent any flare-ups.

No one was injured in the fire.
