Lenoir County teen accused of threatening to kill teacher

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – An Eastern Carolina teenager is accused by deputies of threatening to kill a teacher.

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office said that 19-year-old James Wiggins was charged Friday with two counts of communicating threats.

Deputies said that the charges against Wiggins stem from an argument with a teacher at North Lenoir High School in which the teen threatened to kill them.

Wiggins is being held under a secured bond.
