Lenoir County man and woman arrested for work van theft

Earlier this morning, a Kinston man and a Dover woman were arrested on three felonies.

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – A Kinston man and a Dover woman are facing multiple charges related to the theft of a work van.

Anthony Carlyle, 44, and Trista Dickson, 40, were arrested this morning by Lenoir County deputies.

The arrests came after a concerned resident saw them breaking into a work van parked on the 2200 block of Paul’s Path Road, deputies say.

Carlyle and Dickson were both charged with:

  • One count of felony larceny of a motor vehicle
  • One count of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle
  • One count of felony conspiracy
  • One count of misdemeanor larceny
  • One count of misdemeanor resisting a public officer

Carlyle is being held without bond because he was already out on bond for another charge, while Dickson received a $5,000 secured bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
