Lenoir Co. Sheriff’s Office starts new positivity-engagement program with middle schoolers

Sheriff Jackie Rogers will be working with Lenoir County middle schools to recognize students who go above and beyond in order to serve others.

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office has announced the start of the new “You’ve Been Caught Doing Something Good” program with county middle schoolers.

Sheriff Jackie Rogers says he will be working with middle schools to recognize students who go above and beyond in order to serve others. Rogers will present this student the award and a gift card in a brief ceremony with school and law enforcement staff.

So far, Rogers has honored these students with the award:

  • Hunter Eroh, Woodington Middle School
  • Kachell Parks, Contentnea-Savannah School
  • JaMarcus Robinson, Frink Middle School
