Last minute Valentine’s day shopping

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, so the question is: are you ready?

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and stores in the east are filled with flowers, chocolates, and balloons.

Many businesses offer grab-and-go items if you are running late, but it is better to buy things early to avoid the last-minute rush. Arielle Jarman, who was picking up flowers for her mom, recommends shopping earlier rather than later but if you have to get something the day of, it’s okay too.

“As long as you put thought into it, it is fine if it’s the day before, it is just about showing love and care for people in your family and the people you care about,” Says Jarmen.

Stores were bustling as people picked up items for tomorrow. Lindsay Brinton, who was shopping today, said that if you haven’t purchased anything for your special someone yet, you need to get on it.

“Get busy, because the stores, you know everything flies right off the shelf pretty fast,” Says Brinton.

Even if you don’t have a special someone in your life, you can still celebrate Cupid’s day by being with the ones you love.

“You know everybody deserves a valentine, it is a time to celebrate everyone you love in your family, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, anybody,” Says Jarman.

Even if you don’t get your special someone something on Valentine’s Day, you can always go the day after and get candy and flowers at a discount.
