KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – Police in one city in the east say officers arrested two men after a vehicle break-in.

The Kinston Police Department says Jercasstall Lawson and Johnnie Phillips have been charged with breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle, felony conspiracy and financial card theft.

On Thursday, officers say they responded to a vehicle break-in on 300 N. Herritage Street.

There, officers spoke with business owners and got video evidence of the two suspects, later identified as Lawson and Phillips.

Police say they got warrants for the pair and they are being held in the Lenoir County jail after the warrants were served.
