KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – A Kinston man is recovering after being shot through the window of a home.
According to Kinston police, the shooting happened in the 700 block of Williams Street last Friday around 8 p.m.
When police arrived they say they found 22-year-old Don’Tavis Coppedge of Kinston in a bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say they found a single bullet hole in a window of the bedroom and that the shooter had fired from outside the house.
Coppedge was taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
