WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) – Anyone looking for a new career can stop by the Washington Civic Center today for a job fair.

Today, the Beaufort County Workforce Development Team is hosting a job from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The fair will be split into two sessions: a morning session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. exclusively for high school students and an afternoon session open to the public from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Officials say local companies in fields such as manufacturing, retail, health care, law enforcement, emergency services, social work, government, and education will have tables at the job fair.

Those attending are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to discuss career aspirations.
