RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – A Jacksonville man won the first $1 million prize in a new lottery game.

The North Carolina Education Lottery announced that Joseph Mclamb won the first of six $1 million prizes of their new game, The Ultimate Dash.

Mclamb, according to the lottery, bought his $10 ticket from the Circle K on New Bern Highway in Jacksonville. He took home a lump sum of $429,003 after required taxes.

Five more $1 million prizes remain available. The Ultimate Dash debuted in April, according to a news release.
