Havelock trio given multi-million dollar bonds on drug charges

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Multi-million dollar bonds were given to three Havelock residents after they were charged with multiple drug offenses.

Craven County deputies say they conducted a traffic stop on Highway 101 in Havelock on Thursday. After a vehicle search, deputies seized fentanyl, heroin, alprazolam, psilocybin mushrooms, and marijuana.

Following the traffic stop, Probation and Parole officers, along with deputies, searched John Carr’s home and found a gun with an altered serial number, more marijuana and mushrooms, along with LSD.

Carr, 39, was charged with four counts of trafficking heroin/fentanyl, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule IV controlled substance, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule I controlled substance, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule VI controlled substance, two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substances, possession of a firearm by felon, felony alter/remove gun serial number, and felony probation violation.

Carr is being held on a $4.55 million secured bond.

Also arrested were Jeanette Felder, 44, and Jaqueline Antone, 35. They were charged with four counts of trafficking heroin/fentanyl, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule IV controlled substance, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule I controlled substance, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule VI controlled substance, and two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substances.

Felder and Antone were jailed on $4 million secured bonds.
