Greenville’s Carolina East Family Medicine searching for new provider

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A family medicine clinic in Greenville is apologizing to patients as it looks for a new provider after saying its current doctor is taking some unexpected time off.

A note on Carolina East Family Medicine’s website and posted on the practice’s door at it’s location on Charles Boulevard says the practice has been working non-stop to bring a provider in quickly. In the meantime, it urges patients to visit urgent care for any immediate needs.

The practice says if any patients have prescription refills or an urgent medical concern, they should call the office immediately at (252)756-3713. Carolina East Family Medicine says it will work to make sure medication needs are met but noted that controlled medications cannot be filled until there is a provider available.
