GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A Greenville street was shut down for most of the afternoon as police investigated a fatal vehicle crash.
The accident happened around 1:10 p.m. at the intersection of Thomas Langston Road and Providence Place.
It involved a Lowe’s Home Improvement truck and a car.
Officer Scott Venable said the driver of the car was killed in the crash, while two people in the box truck were sent to ECU Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Thomas Langston Road was closed for nearly three hours because of the accident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and police urge anyone who saw it to give them a call.
