Greenville man wanted for deadly hit & run

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Police in one Eastern Carolina city are asking for your help in tracking down a man wanted in a deadly hit & run crash.

Geoffrey Holman, Jr., of Greenville, is wanted for felony hit & run.

Police say the man was expected to turn himself in at the jail on Friday, but he never showed up.

The crash killed 80-year-old Wilbur Person. The man was riding a moped around 11:00 p.m. last Monday in the area of Stantonsburg Road and Park West Drive when he was hit by a car that never stopped.
