Greenville intersection reopens ahead of student move-in

Intersection near ECU main campus reopens ahead of student move-in days.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A major intersection near the main ECU campus has reopened just weeks before students are scheduled to return for the fall semester.

The intersection of Reade Circle and East 5th Street reopened for traffic and pedestrians on Tuesday.

The intersection is part of the $48.5-million BUILD Project that started in August 2023 in downtown Greenville.

BUILD stands for Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development, according to organizers.
