Greenville homeless shelter issues community challenge for donations

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – An Eastern Carolina homeless shelter is asking for your help in making sure they are stocked to care for others as the summer months approach.

Greenville’s Community Crossroads Center is asking for towels and water for their residents as the heat starts to return.

They are requesting 2 towels and a 12 or 24 case of water. More is welcomed.

Once the towels and the water cases are brought in, 4 other people can be challenged.

Those who participated in the challenge will be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end of June, July, and August. One person in each group would keep track of the names.

Individuals can also email the names to the chairperson at [email protected].

Community Crossroads can either pick up the donations or take drop-offs.
