Greenville Fire/ Rescue says Wednesday home fire cause undetermined

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Fire officials share new details Thursday about a fire that left four people homeless Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the home on Harvey Drive for the 2-alarm fire around 4:10 p.m. yesterday to find fire and smoke coming from the house.

Greenville Fire/Rescue told WITN this morning that the cause of the fire is undetermined.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire with most of the damage in the back of the home and in the attic.

No one was hurt in an afternoon fire, but it has displaced four people. Officials say they are getting help from the American Red Cross.
