Fund set up for family of Bethel teen killed in triple fatal crash

EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – The family of a Bethel teenager has set up a fund to help with funeral expenses after he and two others were killed this past weekend in a vehicle crash.

Jeremy Pollard was one of three people killed in Saturday night’s two-vehicle crash on U.S. 64 Alternate in Edgecombe County.

The 19-year-old’s father, Jerry Pollard, was charged with three counts of felony death by motor vehicle, felony serious injury by motor vehicle, driving while impaired, speeding, reckless driving, fail to maintain lane, a driving left of center.

Also killed in the crash was 34-year-old Brittany Armstrong, of Tarboro, and 19-year-old Jhawaiun Drake, of Rocky Mount. Troopers say all three victims were passengers in Pollard’s vehicle.

The GoFundMe account has a $15,000 goal.
