JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles will open a full-service license plate agency in Jacksonville on Tuesday.

Last November, the previous full-service plate agency was closed due to contract violations.

Then in January, the DMV temporarily opened an office at 299 Wilmington Highway which will now be closed as soon as this new location opens.

The new plate agency will be located at 1606 Country Club Road in Jacksonville.

It will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, except on holidays.
