First Lady to visit Pitt County as part of a day-long trip to North Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Greenville and Greensboro today.

The visit is to highlight the importance of efforts to expand career-connected learning in high school and college.

The First Lady will arrive at Pitt-Greenville Airport around noon. She will visit Pitt Community College in Winterville around 12:30 p.m. where she will highlight the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to expanding access to career-connected learning programs.

Following that stop she will then travel to Greensboro. At 2:30 p.m., she is expected to head to Greensboro and will later visit Guilford Technical College where she’ll be part of a roundtable discussion about career-connected learning in schools.
