Fire erupts at Greenville building

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A fire has broken out at a building in Greenville.

The fire is on Landmark Street and broke out around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

At least 10 first responder vehicles were on the scene at one point working to put out the fire.

A witness who said he works for a neighboring business said it is a commercial building.

As of 9 p.m., the fire was less severe, but massive smoke was still billowing into the sky.
