MANNS HARBOR, N.C. (WITN) – The Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division has announced some of the least-traveled routes will undergo changes to better prepare for the spring and summer.
The temporary schedule will be in effect between Feb. 6 and March 25. Those routes impacted are the following:
- Cherry Branch-Minnesott Beach
- Currituck-Knotts Island
- Swan Quarter-Ocracoke
- Cedar Island-Ocracoke
“This schedule realignment will allow us to run improved schedules when they’re needed most, in the busier months,” said interim Ferry Division Director Jed Dixon.
Each route’s individual schedule can be viewed and downloaded here.
After March 25, the Ferry Division says they will reevaluate the service of these routes to better match their demand.
