Enfield police investigating shots fired into a residence

ENFIELD, N.C. (WITN) – The Enfield Police Department is looking for information about shots fired into an Eastern Carolina home early Wednesday morning.

Enfield police officers say around 3:30 a.m. this morning, they were called to the Sherrod Heights area for shots fired.

When officers arrived, they say they found a residence with bullet holes shot into it.

Officials say people were inside at the time of the shooting.
