ENC fireworks displays planned for Independence Day

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -Folks hoping to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks have several opportunities.

  • Greenville – The Annual Greenville Independence Day Celebration starts at 3:00 p.m. held at Greenville Town Common and along First Street rain or shine. Fireworks begin at 9:25 p.m.
  • Kinston – DK’s July 4th celebration at Pearson Park. North Tower Band will begin playing at 6:00 PM and Fireworks start at 9:00 PM.
  • Washington – Mac Hodges Festival Park is located right on the waterfront. Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. 
  • Atlantic Beach – The Atlantic Beach Circle will start activities at 7:00 pm and fireworks will start from the beachfront and can be seen throughout Town at 9:00 pm.
  • New Bern – 4th of July at Lawson’s on The Creek. Activities start at 5:30 pm and Fireworks start at 9:15 pm.
  • Morehead City – Fourth of July Fireworks will be seen at the downtown waterfront at 9 pm, located at Morehead City Parks & Recreation.
  • Havelock – Freedom Festival, the city park on Cunningham Boulevard starts at 5 pm and ends with fireworks.  
  • Onslow County – The 40th annual Freedom Festival starts at 3 pm, Onslow Pines Park.  Fireworks conclude at 9 pm.
  • Camp Lejeune – RESTRICTED ACCESS.  Music starts at 4 pm, and Fireworks at 8:45 pm. Belhaven – 11 am parade; live entertainment begins at noon; waterfront fireworks at 9 pm.
  • Rocky Mount – The Independence Day celebration is a day early, July 3rd at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex Center. Activities start at 6:00 p.m. and Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m.
  • Tarboro- Braswell Park will be celebrating America’s Independence Day. Music and activities will start at 6:00 pm. Fireworks start at 9:00 pm.
  • Wilson – Fourth of July Fireworks start at 9:00 pm located at Wilson County Fair which opens gates at 5:00 pm.
