Eight facing charges after Greene Co. drug investigations

SNOW HILL, N.C. (WITN) – Search warrants served over the last week led to eight arrests by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

The warrants came from a two-month investigation that not only involved the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit but also state ALE Agents and a Farmville PD Narcotics Detective.

As a result, investigators obtained searched warrants that were served in three different locations, leading to eight arrests on felony drug charges.

The first warrant was served on Wednesday, February 7, at a home on Arba Jason Road, in the area of Jason. Deputies found fentanyl and meth.

They arrested 31-year-old Thomas Chase, 32-year-old Jordan Cooke, and 47-year-old William Warren, on several drug offenses.

The next day, deputies served a search warrant at a home on Thornton Lane, south of Snow Hill. There, they seized meth and fentanyl.

As a result, deputies arrested 54-year-old William Manning, 40-year-old Katrina Atkinson, and 30-year-old Chelsea Cahoon, on several drug offenses.

Again on Monday of this week, deputies served another search warrant – this time on Village Park Dr., just south of Hookerton.

Deputies found crack cocaine and a stolen firearm. They arrested 30-year-old Jeffrey Joyner Jr. and 33-year-old Rodrick Rouse. Both were charged with drug offenses.
