GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A company dedicated to helping those with disabilities secure employment has announced a leadership promotion.

Eastern Carolina Vocational Center says Ellen Jackson was promoted to vice president of customer operations.

Jackson has been with ECVC for decades, starting her career there in 2001.

She has most recently served as director of customer operations.

In her new role, ECVC says that Jackson will add business development to her responsibilities. ECVC will be looking for a business development and marketing manager. This position will answer to Jackson.

Jackson is a 1992 graduate of East Carolina University.
