GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – ECU Police is urging its students to avoid the Main Campus Student center.

In an emergency alert issued by ECU, officials say the campus is experiencing a gas leak/chemical spill.

Emergency personnel are responding to the leak.

Students and faculty in nearby buildings are encouraged to stay indoors.
