Dunn murder suspects arrested in Duplin County

DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Two people who police in Dunn say are suspects in a murder that happened there on Sunday have been arrested in Duplin County.

Duplin County deputies, along with Beulaville police and agents from the SBI, arrested Thad Adams and Kerrie Norris at a home on Highway 111 outside of Beulaville on Friday.

Dunn Police say that Adams and Norris, as well as a third person, are suspects in the Sunday shooting death of Brandon Giles. The third person, Cornelius Webb, was arrested Friday in Harnett County.

Dunn police say that a third man, Cornelius Webb was the person who shot Giles and that he was driven to the home on North Ellis Avenue in Dunn Adams.

Both Webb and Adams were charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Charges for Norris were not available.
