DON’T GET YOUR HOPS UP: Jacksonville rescue bunny loses in Cadbury Bunny “Final Fur”

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – The only bunny still competing in the 2024 Cadbury Bunny contest has hopped out of the competition.

Sheldon, the rescue bunny from Jacksonville, went out with a ‘big bang’, losing out to a raccoon and a cat in the ‘Final Fur’.

Loki, a two-year-old rescue cat, and Louie, a raccoon who lives in a tree, will now compete for the top spot.

The winner gets featured in a television commercial and a $5,500 check.

The next round of online voting begins Friday at noon and is open for 24 hours.
