“Dickinson Avenue After Dark” returns after being postponed due to inclement weather last month

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -A popular craft beer festival in the east was back Friday, after being postponed due to the weather two weeks ago.

Downtown Greenville Partnership and PiCASO hosted the annual Dickinson Avenue After Dark craft beer festival Friday night.

It was located on 8th street between Dickinson Ave. & Washington St. as people had the chance to sample some of ENC’s finest craft beers.

The threat of rain caused the festival to be postponed and moved from its originally scheduled date March 22.

Many say they’re glad tonight was a beautiful night to enjoy food from venders and music in addition to the different beers.

“It’s cool, especially after being locked down for the last couple of years so this has been awesome,” said Greenville resident, Aaron Bennett. “My roommates and I were excited so I’m sure everyone was.”
