DEPUTIES: Woman found with over 130 fentanyl pills

BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A woman is facing multiple fentanyl trafficking charges after her arrest in Beaufort County.

Deputies say on Thursday they arrested Jaleza Alexander.

The 19-year-old is charged with three counts of trafficking in fentanyl, and possession with intent to sell/deliver fentanyl.

Deputies say they seized over 130 fentanyl pills and more arrests are expected.

Most of the fentanyl pills seized in Beaufort County are usually blue or green with ‘M 30′ stamped on them, according to a news release. Deputies say while the pills appear to be prescription medication, they contain lethal fentanyl.

Alexander, who is from the Belhaven area, was jailed on a $30,000 bond.
