DEPUTIES: Man arrested on drug charges with help of K-9 in Beaufort Co.

BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Deputies say with the help of a K-9, they arrested a man on multiple drug charges last month in Beaufort County.

According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, they along with K-9 unit Tinnus, took Todd Bond in custody after a traffic stop on March 25, 2024.

Authorities say as a result of the investigation, over 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine was seized.

Deputies say Bond faces one count of felony maintaining a vehicle to keep/sell controlled substances and two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine.

He was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center without bond.
