DEPUTIES: La Grange man arrested for Bulltown Road break-ins

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A Lenoir County man has been arrested after deputies say they caught him trying to break into a home.

Lenoir County deputies say that they were sent to a home on Bulltown Road on Monday after getting a call about someone trying to break in.

When they arrived deputies say that they found 19-year-old Markis Green of La Grange who they said matched the description they were given of the person who was trying to break in.

Green was arrested and charged with felony attempted breaking and entering.

According to deputies, while they were investigating Monday’s attempted break-in, they also named Green as a suspect in a different break-in that also happened on Bulltown Road back in November.

Green was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking or entering, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods for the November break-in.

Green was placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond.
