Democratic National Committee chairman campaigns for President Biden in Eastern Carolina

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – The chair of the Democratic National Committee continued a sweep of Eastern Carolina to drum up support for President Joe biden’s reelection campaign.

Jamie Harrison held a community round table this morning alongside Kinston Mayor Don Hardy.

Harrison used his time to make the case for why Biden deserves another four years in office.

Harrison focused on American infrastructure funding passed and implemented under Biden and health care.

He told those on hand that former President Trump has made it clear he intends to repeal the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare as it’s commonly known.

Harrison also took aim at Trump’s efforts to remain in office following the 2020 election.

“There’s only been one president in this nation’s history who led an insurrection, a coup on our capital, who defied the Constitution of the United States. And that’s the thing that bounds all of elected officials. That one person is Donald Trump. Joe Biden has been fighting to protect and secure our Constitution and the rights that that Constitution gives all Americans,” Harrison says.

Harrison’s two day tour included visits to Greenville, Williamston, Elizabeth city, and Rocky Mount.
