GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – Goldsboro police are investigating a shooting where one person was killed.

This morning around 2:49, police say they went to a ShotSpotter alert of multiple gunshots fired on the 800 block of North Audubon Avenue. When they arrived, police say they found a 15-year-old girl suffering from a single gunshot wound.

When Wayne County EMS arrived, they pronounced the teenager dead.
