NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Help support the students and staff in Craven County by donating school supplies.

The event will be held on Saturday August 17th from 10am until 2pm in the parking lot of Staples located at 3230 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd in New Bern. Donated school supplies will be distributed throughout principals and school counselors to ensure that supplies are given to those who need them the most.

If you cannot make the event, many businesses have agreed to be drop-off locations and will accept donations until Friday August 16th. A full list of early drop-off locations can also be found on their Facebook page.
