Citizen complaints in Kinston lead to two drug arrests

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – Citizen complaints brought about the arrests of two men for drug charges in one Eastern Carolina city.

Kinston police say its Violent Crime Action Team, along with Lenoir County deputies, raided a home in the Adkin Street area on Thursday.

Inside the home, they seized MDMA pills and fentanyl.

Dominque Rouse, 34, was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver fentanyl, possession with intent to sell/deliver MDMA, and possession with intent to sell/deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park.

Caro Hawkins, 35, was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, and possession with intent to sell/deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park.
