PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Detectives in Pitt County are investigating the discovery of a body this morning.

Sgt. Lee Darnell confirms that a body was found inside a mobile home on U.S. 258, between Stantonsburg Road and Interstate 587.

Crime scene tape surrounds the trailer and multiple sheriff’s office cruisers are at the scene.
