JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Police say they were able to quickly take a bank robber into custody this morning.

Jacksonville police say that they received several calls about a robbery just after 10:00 at the Wells Fargo bank at 146 Western Boulevard.

We’re told officers got to the scene within seconds and took the suspect into custody without any issue.

There were no injuries, police say.
