Ayden police looking for shooting suspect

Officers say he is wanted on 10 gun-related charges for a July shooting.

AYDEN, N.C. (WITN) – An Eastern Carolina police department is looking for a suspect they believe is responsible for a July shooting.

The Ayden Police Department is looking for Nazion Williams, saying he’s facing 10 gun-related charges.

Investigators say he is connected to a shooting that happened in the Kennedy Estates neighborhood on July 28th.

Officers say a search warrant was served at Williams’s home at 312 Allen Drive on August 1st.

Williams is facing three felony counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property, three misdemeanor charges of injury to real property, two misdemeanor counts of injury to personal property, a misdemeanor charge of going to armed to terror of people, and a misdemeanor charge for discharging a firearm within city limits.
